Subarus Win 2 in Port Hood

The Subarus defeated the Cape Breton West Islanders twice this weekend, holding the Islanders to just 2 goals.

On Saturday, The Subz won 2-0, with Mitch Wagner, who recently returned from Jr. A scoring, and Malcolm Green adding the 2nd goal. Joey Hawco earned the shut-out in nets, making 28 saves.

Sunday, Wagner and Green each added 2 more as the Subarus won 5-2. Jake Beardsmore had the remaining Subaru goal. Noah Harvey made 32 saves for the win.

The Subarus (36pts, 25gp) currently sit in 2nd place in league standings, 7 points behind the Macs (43pts, 26gp) and 5 points ahead of Sydney (31pts, 26gp).
