Subarus Split Metro Matchup Weekend

The Subz went 1-1 this weekend, dropping the Saturday night game vs the Macs 6-2, then defeating the Wolfpack on Sunday, also 6-2

Saturday saw the Subarus head to the Forum to play our cross-harbour rivals. The Macs jumped out to a 3-0 lead, and we were never able to recover, 6-2 Macs final. Scoring for the Subarus were Blake Pilgrim-Edwards, and Zach Jenkins. Final shots were 40-32 for the Subz. Joe Hawco made 26 saves in the loss.

Sunday, in the Subaru home-opener, we played the Cole Harbour Wolfpack for the first time this season. Tied at 2 in the 2nd period, Subaru Captain Ben Mercer scored 3 goals in a row, for his first career U18 Major (natural) Hat-trick. Also scoring for the Subarus was Jenkins with 2, and Camden Pellerine. Final shots were 50-21 Subarus. Joe Hawco made 19 saves in the win.
